Found this tunnel the other day.

"Awesome!" I thought, "No-one's posted this location berfore."
Rooted around on 28DL and what do you know?
Kernow got here first, did it bigger, better and brighter...
Just to recap, its an old branch line built in 1876, closed to passengers 1964 and goods in 1971.
Not sure if its a mile like Kernow says, but with a handful of weak assed torches not shedding much light it felt a lot longer...

Its in two sections and travels right under one of Plymouth's many parks,with a properly jungled up section open to the air between the two.
Sweetest part was finding the mineral deposits forming down the walls, there's the making of a few good stalegtites if you can be bothered to wait a few more hundred years...
