This first culvert we used to go down as kids and was known as the "bayer tunnel" and there was always a thundering sound of running water which put most kids off going down.
Its not much but worth a look if your local.
The railway above was first built in 1840 so the middle section must date back from then, then extended as the railway widened over the years.
The rest of the land above the concrete section is just waste land.

this pipe used to piss out water all the time when we were kids wich was the cause of thundering water noise and made getting past this bit without getting soaked difficult! must of been from the nearby bayer factory maybe?

then into this concrete pipe section

the other end which comes out in metal and ores scrapyard, used to be waste ground when we were kids and there was all sorts of shit dammed up against it with about a foot gap at the top to climb out!
Next up across the otherside of the yard it go's under the road and navigation pub, this is the fist time i've done this part as only just descovered it! photos are after walking it first then coming back on myself.
