Report - Mowbray Junior School, South Shields, 5/2/05

[Hartley Hare]

A couple of years ago my old junior school was due to be flattened, so I went to take a few photos before it was completely gone. I had only intended to take pictures from outside the grounds, but to my surprise I found a gate which had been left open so I went in and had a good wander

I'm glad I went when I did, as a couple of weeks later it was burned down. The area is now new houses.

The steps down into the boiler room - I was proud of myself for having the nerve to go down there!
