A few weeks back I visited this post. Penrith post was opened in May 1960 and closed in September 1991. The post is still in awesome condition and I was thrilled. There is still Govt. Prop.toilet paper, toilet, pages. The sign for the hatch was also sat on the outside, so I popped it down. I really liked the Jerry can holders. I assume one of the Observers made it for the post?? Anyone shed light?? Overall it was brilliant, and a good introduction of ROC Posts to me.
