Report - Pinetops Health Club (Formby, Merseyside, Nov, 2018)

An accidental visit which might be of interest to locals who don’t already know about it. I used to walk the dogs in the nearby woods about 5 years ago and the health club cafe was the closest place one could get something to eat.
Remembering this I dropped by for a coffee and sandwich last year only to find it had closed. Not really my sort of explore but I had a quick once round the accessible bits anyway.

This place is very close to my heart, in fact without its existence you wouldn't even here my annoying gob, my parents originally meet her during the 90s, went into the pinetops as a kid to the use the pool when open, am I right there was a fire on the grounds and someone and some horses died? (to the left of building)


Anyway thanks for this chemist never Brought myself around to going in

Thanks for the mention in your report @urbanchemist ....good to see the contrast in the condition of the place 2 years after i did it ....i was a bit shocked !...but not surprised !.. nice pics by the way !
