Bon, that's part 3 of my visits to the Carrieres des Euville, that nice abandoned quarry and settlement thing near Commercy.
Nice place to stay for a night to sleep, with beer cooling source and some mosquitos.
Some people live in some of the houses there, even if they look left to rot.
Two friendly men and a „strange“ woman, it's a silent and not a party plays.

Show respect and you will be fine.
Also there is a school kid education place in front of the big quarry chambers, which is sometimes busy. I met a school class walking around with their teachers; parts of the area are official walking paths, promoted by the city of Commercy. Old open quarries are open to public, not the underground one, which is dangerous to go in; lots of deads and unsafe ceiling.

I like it TF, I'll have to get that on the list.
my first visit there was in an April, so I think this or end of August should be the best time for getting
the possibility of great sunbeam shots in that place, since the sun should be in the right position in early morning,
to beam through the whole rock
