Bon, that's part 3 of my visits to the Carrieres des Euville, that nice abandoned quarry and settlement thing near Commercy.
Nice place to stay for a night to sleep, with beer cooling source and some mosquitos.
Some people live in some of the houses there, even if they look left to rot.
Two friendly men and a „strange“ woman, it's a silent and not a party plays.
Show respect and you will be fine.
Also there is a school kid education place in front of the big quarry chambers, which is sometimes busy. I met a school class walking around with their teachers; parts of the area are official walking paths, promoted by the city of Commercy. Old open quarries are open to public, not the underground one, which is dangerous to go in; lots of deads and unsafe ceiling.
