Report - RAF Church Fenton - June 2015

I had seen a report on this place ages ago but the place didn't seem too good from the pictures but then having seen @The Amateur Wanderer post a report from here recently and with it being so close to me I had to head over and I am glad I did! I haven't done many RAF bases in the past the ones I have done have been trashed or rather boring but I did quite enjoy this place, quite alot to see!

Cheers mate, broke my tripod at the weekend so most came out dark and noisy! Revisit is due to check out the hanger they use to keep the planes in

Maybe partially live? There's a plane in a previous report I think.

I asked for it to be put in NP for a couple of weeks to give regular users a chance to see it before it goes public, the place is in a great state of preservation so I thought it might be an idea to allow others to see it before it goes out to the general public, ie. Mongs, Pikeys and Vandals.

There's also a few bunkers in the live part that could be explored, and the hangars, they would become a no go rather quickly if our activity on site was publically known I imagine.
