Visited on 13th March 2010. Sorry this is late but Flickr has been screwing up so I've had to grudgingly use the slow email uploadr instead of web/computer uploadr!
Visited on the same day as Mookie and Landie, but spent most of it exploring alone as I wanted to cover new stuff, whereas Mookie and Landie wanted to cover the school again (which I thought was shit). Firstly I started off with doing Dorm block #445, which again has some superb artwork, that gives #594 a run for its money!
After that I had a little snoop round the place looking for another place to do. Why not do one of the older Dorm blocks - #485. Pretty small, but has some fairly good artwork. Definitely a stark contrast from the more modern blocks for sure! Seems to be full of shit in places sadly too. Not too bad though.
After leaving I went across the way to get the Casino (472/3) covered. I would venture in further but I don't yet because I don't have a torch. Take a few pics then leave to meet up with Mookie and Landie.
Briefly get over to the School, just to get a couple of pieces of artwork in the police barracks, see some seclusion cells but to be fair I wasn't particularly enthused by them so no pics.
After stopping for lunch, I head back over to the Casino and upon further inspection find some SUPERB stickers from different squadrons in the bar. Also find the little hall at the back, with Hermie's Sandwich Shoppe which I annoyingly didn't take any pictures of. Returned to #445 to give them a tour and get any other artwork I missed.
Upon leaving, I have the biggest shock of my life - we're told to wait by a guard (not the usual guard! Dressed in black; the normal security guard has a yellow hi-vis) under suspicion of theft! Shit! Well at least my form said no further action taken - I burnt it later anyway!
Pics:
Totally brilliant isn't it?
Probably the greatest piece of artwork I have EVER seen in Heyford!
Who's this?
