History:
Built in 1847, Reins Mill has had a long run producing textiles. The weavers went on strike in 1902 when half the looms were speeded up, and wages for the fast loom weavers reduced while the slow loom weavers were kept idle waiting for warps.
In 1960 the Holme Valley Rug Company was set up and in 1973 incorporated with another company called Holme Valley Patterns Ltd until they ceased trading around 2001-2003. In recent years and until 2008 the lower floor appears to have been used as a MOT testing garage. In 2013 the mill had been reported to become a new Morrisons but as 2015 nothing has happened yet.

Past this place a few times and never had the the chance to stop and have a look at it. So the night before we went over I checked a few reports out to see what it was like and made a plan to go the next morning.
Was a bit of a mission getting in but turned out alright in the end, bit bare for my liking but enjoyed it anyways and another one ticked off my list.
