Spent a few hours in the old childrens hospital recently.
Came across a great curving white tunnel but it just ended up goint to the records store and the offices for the maintenance people. It's an interesting place but most of the building fabric is in good condition so it lacks the dereliction I like.
A little history:
The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Sick Children – affectionately known as The Alex – was officially opened in 1881 by their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales. It has a long history of progressive and innovative paediatric care embracing medicine, nursing and related professions, paediatric nurse training and research. In June 2007, the new hospital opened on the Royal Sussex County Hospital site - the state-of-the-art facility has won an international design award and continues with offering pioneering paediatric care.
The pictures:

The disappointingly mundane tunnel
