The former Salford Central Police Headquarters looks out onto the public square which it shares with the former Central Fire Station. Designed by the architectural practice of Bradshaw, Gass & Hope this brick and Portland stone building was opened in 1957. Following amalgamation of forces within Greater Manchester in 1974 it continued to operate as the GMP Salford Division Headquarters until its closure in 2008 . the images shows the inside to be in a poor state but with many of its original features are still in place.

You could do with a few more pics of the place as there is more to see than a few old posters, a couple of doors and the inside of a cell.

Seriously, despite it now being beyond trashed there is a fair bit compared to what you have shown in this report, get a few more up

I see you have attached a video. Just to say this is primarily a photo based site though and we don't really encourage them here.

Unfortunately due to us recording and taken photos when storm Dudley was on we got none of the outside shots which imo is the best part to it as it looks fab on the outside especially the frontage but don’t worry any more reports I do will have loads of photos to it
