Well after an uneventful first visit (well - uneventful apart from running into what seemed to be former patients hanging around the entrance getting very excited at the prospect we might be nurses coming to bring them back in - seriously...) just scouting the out buildings (couldn't find a way in and the friend i took with me baulked at the idea of trying to scramble over the fence...) I went back with my sister late afternoon on the 9th and made it in. Have to say as a first big explore (everything previously has been stumbling into small places by accident) it was a blast - It amazes me that this place will more than likely be flattened in a few years and be houses - how depressing :crazy
anyway - i'm not so much the talker - so heres some photo's to keep you amused....
Next time i'll actually be heading out for the whole day - anybody fancy october?
