After seeing a few reports from here recently, myself and obscurity decided to take a trip to Essex to check the place out.

St Johns Hospital closed in November 2010 when services located to the nearby Broomfield hospital in a £140 million new wing. It used to be the Trust's main maternity unit and children's services.

It made for quite an interesting explore, even thou there's not an awful lot of equipment left it was still worth the trip. Cheers to Obscurity for driving. :)

Childrens Services with painted ceiling tiles, and some pretty nice tiled art work on the walls of the kitchen and bathroom areas.
