Not an intrusive explore, this (it's maintained and open to the public - just not really advertised). We just stumbled upon it whilst lost on the way back from Dungeness Sound Mirrors.
It's a very atmospheric ruin and great for a photo shoot.
Easy to wiki - The earliest part is 13thc with later 16thc extensions. Hit by a doodlebug in 1944, there are still some nice little features - a favorite of mine was the floor tiling which is slowly being grown over. Well worth a look for a little chill out. While your clothes dry off in the boot after getting to the Denge Mirrors
