Thought i would post this to show any of you guys the current state of the place.
St Marys lunatic asylum was opened in 1914 and closed in 1995 situated in Stannington in Northumberland
What was a excellent site to take in- is now a shell of its former self(literally is now a shell).
most walls and floors have been stripped
theatre ceiling-possibly the most intact part of the site
here is the tower, today we didnt make it to the top due to breeding pigeons and the most pigeon crap ive ever seen!
well i hope you guys enjoy the report, unfortunately theres not much left to see, but it'll all be gone soon
