March 2020

I visited this on on my own one weekday afternoon, I've not seen much from this place and only really became aware of it when I saw the below article appear on Facebook. The school was constructed in 1964 and was subsequently added to over the years with additional buildings, in 2011 St Peter's School merged with the nearby Berry Hill High School and management was passed from the local council to an Academy Trust. The two schools remained open until 2013 when both sites closed and relocated to a new £22 million building in Fenton. The St Peter's site was also briefly used by a local primary school after asbestos was discovered in their current building.

Went here twice last year, a very enjoyable explore, loved the murals everywhere. Doesn't look like it's changed much since. Although on the second visit a lot of the classrooms had been locked up. Great photos!

It made a good consolation prize for us when we failed at the hospital over the road. :(
