Report - Stannington Sanatorium Boiler House September 2019

Came across this place after a tip off of a building lying amongst some trees near Morpeth. Wasnt really expecting much tbh found the building after a bit of searching. It didnt look too exciting from the outside though when i finally got in and discovered an old boiler house not in great condition mind i started to realise not that bad really. Later on i did some research and it turned out to be the boiler house for the now demolished Stannington Childrens Hospital. Somewhat surprised this is still standing not the greatest of explores but a nice little find out in the Northumberland countryside.

Pegswood bricks made near here i.e. near Buckley, North Wales.
