I got a message from Hellboy last week asking if I fancied coming for a nose at Sunbeamland and unusually for me , I didn't have anything on so jumped at the chance.
As the other guys have said , when we arrived there was a red Rover driving round the building slowly so we wandered off for a few minutes then came back once they were (apparently) gone. The look on their faces when I wandered in was a classic , but sadly I didn't get a photo and they buggered off straight away leaving us to explore.
It's worse for wear in there , but surprisingly it hasn't (yet) been completely trashed.
Lots of space and pigeons on the factory floor.
And conveyors running from floor to floor and between wings.
From looking at the paperwork we found it seems security were on site for a few years after it last closed - their offices were the only ones with signs of use left.
And their classic 80s sound system and music had been left behind.
Best get in quick - the pikies have found this place and once the local chavs do too it's only a matter of time before the fires start
