History at www.tggreen.co.uk
On the back of Oxygen Theif's recent visit, TG Greens became the second and final stop of me and Meanstreaks Derby day out.
TG Green's has been on the cards for a while now and it didn't disappoint.
When we turned up, we passed a Security Dog van parked at the front gate. So on entering the compound, we spent some time making sure we were in the clear.
Once happy we were free to move around, we made a start on exploring this surprisingly large site.
We spent a good two hours exploring down and up stairs and still only saw half of it.
Time was against us, so we called it a day, promising to go back again and also to eat at the 50's style American Diner at the end of the road lol.
Here are some of my photos:
1947 True - CCTV False
Pottery-tastic
The obligatory Plasterers Radio LOL
Nice Moss Wall effect
Upstairs - Two of the Bottle Kilns
Inside one of the Kilns
The Lift
Inside the long Kiln
Some great old bottles
The old Petrol Pump in the Yard
