Denbigh Asylum is a beautiful place to visit however nowadays the place is quite dangerous and apparently has a fair deal of security. before i get into the details about my visit i will first give some back story to the location.
The North Wales Hospital which is known as Denbigh Mental was completed in 1848 and was once a hospital for up to 200 people with psychiatric illness however by the early 1900's it house 1537 patients it was closed in sections from 1991- 1995
My Visit-
Overall it was fairly easy to get into. we went down the dirt path at the bottom of the road and then climbed up the wall and went through the broken fence. there was no security or Elwyn there thank goodness. The trip overall was amazing the place is beautiful and it is a shame of how much damage the place has succumbed to over the years.
