I've been wanting to get back down these tunnels for ages, as last time my camera didn't like the dark and no pics came out. Last night I got my wish, cheers to STeALtH for showing me around and nice to see you again Lynton. These tunnels were used as air-raid shelters in both WW1 and extended in WW2 and could accommodate up to 15,000 people. Also used as a scenic railway. It is awesome down there, and I have utter respect for the guys who had to dig out these tunnels with pickaxes, it was a nice chilled out explore and saw alot more than I did last time, enough said, heres the pics:

Enjoy the pics, it was great seeing this place again, didn't get any pics of the main tunnel which is huge, my camera not the best for long exposures. What a quality way to spend a sunday night, with a cold beer afterwards, cheers guys.:thumb
