So on our first day out in over four months me and man gone wrong visited this little lovely mill. Big thanks to mookster for giving me the tip off last year. We both really enjoyed this place a lot. It's small and only being three small levels. The mill house next door had a lovely retro kitchen and the kitchen doors are of a type I have never seen before. Bikin Glynn seems to think they are made off some sort of Formica. There is one nice bit of belt driven machinery on the second floor. Going by mooks report the mill was built around the mid 1800's and the house was left in 2011, the mill was disused earlier.

Above the mill race is lots of bits and bobs. It was strange that the light bulb was on. It makes me wonder if the water powered a generator to supply some electric to the mill.

Some new roofing and windows, I would expect to try keep the mill water tight.

I really liked this what looked like a pre cast concert garage with nature taking over it.

The kitchen units are by 'English Rose', Id give them a few grand for that setup! Rare to find that many together.
Oh thanks for the name. When I opened one I was surprised how thick and chunky they were, but so light. They really were a thing of beauty. The shape is fantastic on them.

Commented on the last thread about three bridge mill on 28DL, so check that one for a load more information about the place! But I can confirm the place has now sold and new buyer is said to be promising to return the building to the former mill and home it once was !

Nice if they are going to do something with it. And the especially if they keep it as a mill. It's a beautiful location for sure.
