Thanks for sharing these too. In amazingly good condition really. I can't work out what that little secondary wheel was used for, never seen reference to one on any other gin. It's a single horse drive only by the look of it so wouldn't have done much, but agreed it probably powered a simple ore crusher or set of Californian stamps.
