Designed by the part sculptor, part installation artist and part musician Richard Wilson, in 2007 Wilson installed 'Turning the Place Over' in a former Yates's Wine Lodge building within Liverpool City Centre.

Situated opposite Moorfields Train Station, The art feature comprises of an 8-metre diameter disc from the walls and windows of the building. These were attached to a motor which literally turns this section of the building inside out in a cycle lasting just over two minutes.

Although access to the inside of the building for a closer look at the mechanics was not possible the rooftop itself allowed for some fantastic views of the surrounding area.
