Well we decided to spend the the last weekend below ground and poking about in holes. After the normal double sausage and egg Mc muffin and hash brown combo we made best speed thru the bank holiday madness towards north wales.
The first target on the radar was Frongoch mixed mine. Gotta be honest my back was still playing up a few days after walking back thru the narrow adit but boy was it a good fun mine,we did not make it to the pump shaft due to a collapse but there was a lot to be seen there.
The second mine we explored was Henfwlch mixed mine, wow that mine had some stunning features and was slighty less stoopy than the first my back thanked me for that big style after the stoopy nature of the last mine.
