Spotted this place after having my fill of Ikea meatballs with a bootfull of Swedish chic. :freak

The day was overcast and sticky, fuelled on mac d's cappuchino I scoured the perimeter with Havoc, TheNewMendoza and X. The site is deceptively large and has what looks to be a couple of capped underground water channels and concrete foundations from old water tanks.

After debating whether the sleeping man in the car was security or just spending some quality time away from the missus - we were in :thumb

It consists of a large antenna tower and two huge warehouses. The site became abandoned shortly after the nearby reservoirs fell into disuse.

Huge storage potential

There were signs on most taps stating water not safe for drinking, pallets lay scattered full of mineral water

The kitchen had some great natural light filtering through

Re: United Utilities - Ashton REPORT 04/08/07

Good find this Dodge, as previously stated this place is deceptively large with quite a lot to see once you get into the offices and whatnot. The amount of maps in this place is a sight to behold. :thumb And technically, it's in Audenshaw, but, close enough. :)

Onto the pics...

Stores.

The clock in Dodge's post was actually still ticking and telling the right time, after I'd put it forward an hour :D

Good stuff!!
