Report - Walsall College - St Paul's Campus - Sept 2009

Been a bit busy and the reports are mounting up so here's the first of a few more to appear...​

Visited with Adders0121, Bubblehead and A Man Called Martyn​

Opened in the 1950's and has now moved over to a new site accross the road known as Wisemore Campus. In 2002 a £200,000 renovation to the Hair and Beauty section was done and now Tesco have plans to demolish the site and build a 10,000sqft store at a cost of around £100million.

The £100 million investment marks the inauguration of ‘Walsall First’ – a pioneering initiative between the
college, Tesco, Walsall Regeneration Company (WRC) and Walsall Council to help create a ‘seed-bed’
of enterprise, skills and business that will make Walsall one of the leading towns in the West Midlands.

Further history is none existant.

Rooms are mostly stripped devoid of furniture, a few walls displays remain giving indications to what was taught in the rooms. This place is a corridor fanatics wet dream, there are loads!​
