Pretty fresh place but with word the machine will be either dismantled or sold off soon as its under private sale, I had to have a look.
Never have much luck with decent industrial explores, so was quite surprised I managed to get in here considering how tight security is.
Cameras and dog unit but I took the chance and I wasn't disappointed.
The plant closed in February and the company has now gone into liquidation, I'd read a few reviews on the places and there wasn't many positive things said, lack of ppe, band management and no training given.
Someone had also died in the plant last year after sustaining injures, so for being open just for 2 year its history is pretty bleak.
I'd rather explore summit like this than the countless soggy derpy old houses that urbexers seem to love at the moment.
The family run Ward Recycling had successfully operated a glass and plastic recycling plant in Teesside since 2002.
The plant was opened in Hartlepool in 2019 and the machine was described as one of a kind costing over 1 million.
Thanks for looking.
