Wellington/Knoll mill is now under demolition visited with host over two days. Built in 1852 for Shaw son & Lees cotton and traded until 1858 the mill was also under ownership of N.broadbent & son's until 1932.after a number of years of closure the mill had a new lease of life in 1941 when 362 new looms were installed and became fabric weavers and became the Knoll spinning company and finally closing in the late 90's..
