I was fortunate enough to be able to 'do' West Park a few months back. However, I had to sit on the photos for a while tho.
This set depicts the childrens ward, something that was officially denied by the Health Authority. The official line was that the rooms were used as a creche facility for the children of employees at the site. However, the actual usage was for the 'treatment' of children. Of all the places within the site, this is one of the spookiest, given its previous usage. More reports will follow shortly documenting other parts of the site. When I visited there was a serious water ingress problem. The presence of the painted windows and somewhat crudely drawn cartoons starkly illustrates the disturbing history of this ward.
Apologies for this report being pic-heavy.
