The first site of the day and a chance find whilst looking for richmonds on thelwall lane, thats the good thing about my poor navigating skills, sometimes they find us a site or two, well at least thats my story and im sticking to it.
I cant seem to find any history on this place despite three company names being visible on a sign in one of the pics but its close proximity to the mersey suggest it probably had a marine history although it did have the look of a mill about it as you can see.
With any luck someone may be able to identiify its former use from seeing an exterior pic.
It was pretty stripped in here so we only spent about 15 minutes in the place a quick rooftop to bottom was all that was required.
You can see it has mill type doors so maybe it was just a mill after all?
Up on the roof now, looking towards the live fiddlers ferry power station, you can see the cooling towers
