There is not much more to say about this place which hasn’t been said in previous threads. So I won't say a lot apart from...what a fantastic place.
It is a shame that all the furniture and beds have been removed, but thanks to someone on this site the obligatory wheelchair is still there lurking in a corridor.
You can still find the odd feature piece and the main hall still has the charity banner up above the srage just waiting for its audience.
Many of the downstairs bathrooms have been smashed up.
We climbed to the top of the central tower which afforded great views of the hospital and surrounds.
We were there a couple of hours and bumped into one other duo. We also managed to avoid the security. Whether they heard us or were just doing rounds is anyones guess but we heard them chatting loudly and saw their flourescent jackets reflecting off the walls. So at that point we decided it would be safer to leave.
Chatting to a couple of guys with a drone in the otherside of the fence, we were warned about security cameras up at the top right corner, and were told if we were caught the security generally call the police.
