History
Williamsons has been trading at mumps in oldham at the same premises since the 1920’s a family run business specialising in fire fighting equipment and later refurbished conveyor systems. The business closed in 2011, some say this was due to the tram system put in. not too sure if that was the case sadly i can’t seem to find out to much about the business or building
The Visit
After seeing the initial report by the legend who is Host, I have been keen to see this place in person as it reminded me so much of one of my favorite explores of the past few years (George Barnsley), it was certainly as good in person as it looked in the pictures as well.
The place is bigger than it looks from the outside as well and we were wandering around the place for hours!
