Hey everyone. I had a little trip around the coast and visited Winterton ROC to get some nice pictures as it was a warm sunny day. I have visited the site before when the hatch was missing and the post was filled to the top with sand but now someone has put a concrete seal to stop entry.

The post was built in October 1963 and closed in October 1968 and there is a lot of damage to the surface features.

Above: There were signs of a brick structure just to the north east (about 50yards) which is believed to be from WW2 although I cannot work out what it was.

Above: There were also signs of another structure of some kind to the south. I think this is where the Orlit used to be before someone moved the remaining walls.

That's all folks! Real shame you cant get in it but I'm going to see if any other local ones are open. I love a good ROC Post! :)
