Report - Abandoned Farmhouse/Outbuildings near Tavistock, Devon, June 2018

Came across this one today by accident. It’s the second one I’ve found recently just by driving (for work), and also same old metal pre fab style farmhouse.
No history with this I’m afraid. Found no clues inside or any paperwork. Main house was sadly empty just a few pieces of furniture and roof collapsed on one room. But there where lots outbuildings full of bits. 5 outbuildings, still in good condition, some nice quality wooden doors on them as well. There was a lawnmower in each outbuilding in fairly good nick. Because the outbuildings where in good condition and solid doors, the bits inside relatively in good condition.

Fab photos. The metal shed looks like it was green and cream and the wooden pelmet is screaming Southern Railway to me. The old abandoned Southern railway between Bere Alston and Okehampton went through Tavistock so this may be a re-purposed railway building.

Fantastic find and great pictures. we are in tavistock today would be great to find this. Been looking at old farmhouses that might be able to explore
