Hartleys is ideally placed for a supermarket being almost in the town centre and bordering a residential area so that was probably a forgone conclusion.

Springfield Brewery Wolverhampton was being developed to provide 425 units but there was a economic downturn in the apartments market.
No idea how it's progressing now but there was securtity on site when I did a report in September 2012.

On a similar note Lichfied maltings was being converted into apartments by MarCity. Still being developed I think

I miss the old Tetley Museum in Leeds with its working Dray Horses, the main building has re-opened as a Art Gallery, and ASDA have a warehouse over the old main brewery site.
