Bradford Conditioning House was run by the city council for the comparitive testing of wool. Bradford was the centre of the wool industry and this place was unique, providing independent testing so both buyers and sellers could agree on the quality of the wool being sold.
The conditioning house sits empty awaiting conversion, it's just like a mill apart from it's central corridor like some maltings and Elizabeth Shaw chocolates.
It's pretty stripped inside having been used by the council as a store after it closed, but there were some interesting and very old bits and pieces to be seen.
As this was the Bradford "freezing by bits off" trip, my mind wasn't fully on the job in hand, so apologies for the ropey pics...
