British Waterways building Colwick Nottingham or The Trent Lane Depot's. What better way to spend a sunny day than shooting some old buildings, another 5am start to head off to Nottingham, with a mid week explore you never know how busy these places can be well luckily their was no one in site at first but by the time i had finished the first building the place had filled up nicely with people so leaving the second building for another time. I have to say i really enjoyed it here there isn't a great to look at but architecturally i found this building a real pleasure to shoot, i guess i have a thing for concrete and this place has a lot of it. the building was open in 1930 and closed in the 80's but for a more in depth history have a look at Dreamawakes report a well covered report..not to bad an explore more of a photo opportunity than anything else but well worth the trip...Enjoy
