Report - Bromborough Power Station - Wirral - May 2022

This has been done to death so I won't bore you with the details. Well worth a visit. Thanks to another 28DL member who told me how to get in via a hole in the fence from the road (ignore the quicksand sign). It's so overgrown but if you walk through the woods and then follow the pipes with the coast on your left, you'll eventually see the power plant and look for an opening in the fence.

The walk up the coast is quite good as well with some pipes that must have once spewed who knows what into the sea. It still stinks. Went inside the largest pipe but didn't fancy going all the way as there was some mist hanging in the air.

Overall it was a lovely day out at Chernobyl beach.

Can you get into that? I know it’s only recently shut down so assumed it’d be guarded. Had a look from the back on the trans Pennines trail and it looks pretty secure. I’d love to get in there though.

I went about 6 weeks ago, its absolutely pristine still.

Yeah it was quite easy. Just avoid the daleks cameras and fences.
