Report - Compstall Mills, Stockport, 05/23

To be honest, this wasn’t initially meant to be a full report worthy explore, more of a, ‘Wake up at 6 to explore for 2 hours to not miss the race,’ Yet that very Quickly turned into missing an hour of the F1

To be honest I can’t find much history, it is comprised of many mills and storage lots that have been chopped up into individual commercial lots, it offers some interesting mooches and goodies but nothing photogenic sadly, here is a photo layout

The place is a maze not gonna lie, so there isn’t much of a direction to the photos as it’s been some time since I’ve visited. Enjoy!

Found a lot of OLD papers in here, some dating back to 1926 which was incredible (Or fake, I don’t know I didn’t confirm anything)

Didn’t get a good look around here as the floor was way too sketchy, roof access is possible if you don’t mind a rotten floor

I don’t look my best when it’s early, hot and not showered 😂

And enough black mold to kill the average asthmatic

I did see the funeral home and the cellar etc, but there really wasn’t much photogenic to see or bright enough for my phone to receive, pretty sure Mookster and MotionlessMike have good photos of it on their report (better photos in general lol)

If you put compstall Mills Stockport in Google you get loads of history including plenty of other reports on this site who have included history.
Don't take this the wrong way but it sort of reads like a lazy explore and lazy report.

It’s a weird one this. It’s a mix of being completely trashed, but still lots of stuff left behind. Quite a bit of documents to look at in the car dealer office on the second floor, full of log books.

Was speaking to another member a few days back, it’s weird how open the place is with no attempt to secure the site or even any of the buildings. It’s almost like the hope is it will get destroyed.

I’ve heard a it’s been mega trashed now after a rave, so it doesn’t seem very special anymore which is a shame as I only got to look around once on that morning
But there definitely seemed to be lots left in some of the offices, could spend hours looking in every room for goods

It’s why it’s a bit of a lazy report though, I personally didn’t see much of a charm in it and was meant to be a quick look around, I only put the report up as the place has been trashed and I figured I may as well put something up with the little photos i have
