I had done a report from this great site back in April last year http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums...ntrol-centre-bunker-dorking-april-2013-a.html ! BigBadAsh had been keen to get in but it had been sealed for almost a year, so when i saw extreme-ironings report i mentioned to BBA that it was once again open, we headed off with non member Bumpy, to have a look! I only went to show them the way in, but when we got there. we found that the main entrances were still sealed and we had to make our way in via the very dangerous spiral stairway! But for me the trip was well worth it, as the main entrance area has been uncovered and all the original concrete steps, entrance number 1 and other structures had been unearthed, anyone who has been to Deepdene will remember how overgrown this area was! I'm not sure who had done all of it but it does give you some idea of what it must have been like back in WW2.
So i feel that its worth putting up this report, just for the outside shots alone! I didn't take many pictures inside as i had already done so last year. I would again like to point out that the way in is not without risk!
