The No.1 Railway Deviation bridge as it was known runs across the river Mersey in Warrington.
The No.1 Deviation is that of the former London & Northern Western Railway (L.N.W.R.) Warrington to Crewe line opened by the Grand Junction Railway on 4 July 1837.Apart from that unable to find any info on when it was finally closed. It must be quite a few years as its overgrown and corroded quite bad in parts.
