Hi first report so be gentle. Yes one picture isnt as sharp as it could be but it was a drive by photo shoot and I was sinking in mud. I rediscovered these the other day. They used to be stored at the the British Gas site near Stratford upon Avon at Welford on Avon. They stood there for ages then disappeared about 5+ years ago. I discovered them taking a short cut down the local lanes.
Anyway I spoke to a local ( not the site owner) and this is the story. They were formally steam powered engines used to dredge the river Avon at Welford. They were then used as ploughing engines. At some time they have been converted to diesel. Never seen diesel engines like these before mega chunky. Makes the 2.5 in my Honda look like a wimp. When the Gas site closed the field owner acquired them but seems to have just abandoned them in the field. I know nothing about the truck.
