The great Asylum Road Trip 2008 arrived at Fairmile on a chilly afternoon early April.
Me Pincheck and Cuban Bloodhound in attendance
After the exploits at The Moor; Whittingham; Deva and Denbigh we felt a trip here was in order.
With th epromises of highly entertaining security devices ... how could we resist
A few calls to Riddlers and Rooks then we found our entry point..... creeping inside we held our breath for the sounds of the alarm.... nothing ... so far so good. ooooh theres a PIR whispered Pincheck. Its not lit up and the alarm hasnt gone off... maybe its broken?
Oh well ahead we went..... into the second room.... no sooner had we whipped out the cameras when we heard ....BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP
"Security are aware of your presence" & "the police are on thier way"
SHIT .... RUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNN
Away we went looking for the stairs....up we went and hid on the roof..... thirty heart stopping minutes of footsteps and banging doors then all went quiet ....DAMN that door on the roof that kept banging in the wind! lol
After that we slowly made our way from room to room watching out for PIRs.
an hour later we found one ....what a beast .... this thing had twin PIRs on it and was hidden in a doorway to the bathroom. avoiding it we continued along the journey .... starting a small guestbook on the inside of a cupbord door on the way.
After anopther while we came to a door... we slowly opened it to get a shock .... a floor mounted PIR was right behind it

again avoiding this we continued to make our way back to our entry point.
Id say we managed about thirty percent of the main building.
With the correct equipment we couldve made Admin
ANother day ...another day
On leaving we figured out that the PIR system will not activate until ... two PIRS are tripped and there is a one minute silent delay before the voice.
Just as we sealed the entry .... BEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPP
NOT AGAIN ... RUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!
All in all a great explore and one I WILL be going back to :
