A chance explore as i was on a job at the adjoining college campus which has now swallowed up this building in its campus as part of the art department.
Not too sure when this station closed but it seems the new fire station has only been around for a few years.
The art department only seem to use the old engine bays as teaching rooms, with the old flats above containing college records and the bar on the top floor derelict. Apologies for the poor quality pics but they were taken on my phone as i didn't take my camera out in the car.

after much effort i finally got the door open to find the pole had long been removed, and it turned into a storage cupboard
