The history for this place is rather scant...

History

The Graving Dock Tavern was situated at 353 North Woolwich Road. Publican in 1891 was Joseph Hart.

This pub and a nearby cafe (Georges Diner) closed in 2006. A graving dock was a dock used for work on ship's hulls.

This pub is a next door neighbour to the Millennium Mills site. The front of the pub is so overgrown you wouldn't even know it was there unless you were looking for it. I've thought about having a look at this place a few times but even the back looked like a bit of a jungle. I decided to bite the bullet this time

I ventured to the top of the stairs but I didn't really trust the ground and as I was solo I decided against going any further.

Also it was very dark inside so I had to count on my camera flash helping me out. I think the majority turned out decent enough. Thanks for looking!

Wondered what this place was like inside. The only attention I ever paid to it was finding the piss easy way into the grounds of MM behind it many years ago.
