A good friend spotted this place about five years ago, so I went to have a mooch about on a very frosty but beautiful morning. I then met up with Mookster in the summer to show him. Sadly it was very overgrown. Being twenty mins from me I decided to go give it another look last month. This time I managed to get further in and find more stuff. My two mates had not been so I took them back the next week, I decided to just use my 35mm lens this time for the rest of the shots. It was great to see nothing had changed since my first visit, except it had got far more decayed and green. I have to admit I ain't got hardly any knowledge on cars really. Mookster is an expert on them. But something about cars rotting away in woodland that I love. I literally go for peace and the photos. I am not sure if this place was a bit of a scrapyard or just someone who liked hoarding vehicles. It's been abandoned quite a lot of years though. Pics from two visits.

Starting with the bit I had not seen before. Right at the rear is this quite intact shed which stores this old Thames van.

Hidden in the trees half buried is this local Norwich van from Sextons fruit and veg merchants. They were a large wholesale seller.

Another Thames van, albeit in a slightly worse condition.

Lots of random bits and bobs are dotted about.

Lots of clay pipes in the trees.

Loved this one which is in such a decaying state.

The poor 107 series land rover just looks so much worse now.

I'd totally forgotten about this place, it really is a nice one. Looks like an Austin A60 in the undergrowth next to that shed too, which definitely piqued my interest.

That was five years ago and you have been many more since ha ha. We did not get in the back bit when we went.

Cheers mate. Funny you say that. I can't really recall you doing a car place ever. If ever this way I will happily show you around.
No you are right. Once went to a little Chapel which somebody used as a car workshop and there were 4-5 vintage cars in the grounds. Looking back actually really enjoyed it.

Nice mooch this. Very photogenic old vehicles. Great coverage. Ive a few like this, I may roll them into one and report as ive little to no history on two of the locations.
