Today Zerocool and I went to High Royds asylum today after seeing the pictures of silverstealths on Friday and thought that it would make a nice Sunday jolly.
Entry to the place was quite straightforward and having marked-man as a guide was invaluable
We got round about a third of the place but due to the sheer size of it we will have to have another visit at a later date.
Inside the clocktower.
The void below the roof in the clocktower. Nice old steelwork in there.
From the roof of the clocktower which was well misty.
Corridoors.
Notice board (couldn't find a Q or a Z ).
War memorial.
Stage backdrop.
You have to be very thin to get through those.
Clocktower and partially demolished wing.
Stairwell with cartoons.
The boilerhouse was a bit empty but it had some nice period guages in there.
