This hotel is very near to the Monastery Montserrat, so the back drop to this abandonded Hotel is stunning.
The hotel was closed in 1992, however it looks as if it has been abandoned for a lot longer. The interior is very empty now compared to some older picture and has obviously been lived in by squatters in the very recent past.

In 1936 the hotel was used as a military war hospital, after the war the hotel attempted to returned to its normal function but due to declinded business was forced to close in the late 80´s/early 90´s, it was then completely abandoned in 1992.
There is some cool graffiti in the hotel but it is not over run with it.
